Hardscape Foreman

Responsibilities

  • Address customer concerns as they arise
  • Communicate with customers upon completion of work
  • Build patios, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls and other landscaping construction
  • Proficiently operate a variety of equipment, including Bobcats, backhoes, plate compactors, stone grinders, drills, gas and electric chop saws and jack hammers
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, work site and equipment
  • Direct and train crew members
  • Complete all production related paperwork
  • Positively promote company culture

Requirements

  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Landscape/Construction industry and/or with building contracting company
  • Consistently meet deadlines
  • Analyze diverse problems and consistently make proper decisions
  • Work successfully with limited supervision
  • Valid Driver’s License

Landscape/Softscape Foreman

Responsibilities

  • Address customer concerns as they arise

  • Direct and train crew members on yard enhancement duties
  • Build landscaping design from scratch with little supervision – you’re the boss
  • Ability to read blueprints and sketches, from designer, and bring what is on paper to life
  • Install large trees, shrubs, boulders and other property landscape enhancements
  • Plant new flowers, bushes, plants, and decorative shrubs
  • Install lighting and drainage systems; in most cases where there’s no preexisting work
  • See individual project(s) all the way through – start to finish
  • Complete all production related paperwork

Requirements

Landscape Maintenance Crew Member

Responsibilities

  • Mow grass and prune trees and shrubs
  • Maintain the existing landscaping design and ensure plant survival
  • Rake fallen leaves and remove debris
  • Safely operate gas powered equipment and properly store when finished
  • Garden bed cleanup and mulching; Spring and Fall cleanups
  • Assist foreman with any instillation, planting, etc.
  • Accept all other general labor tasks as needed with a positive attitude

Landscape Designer/Estimator

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to discuss projects and note their objectives and goals
  • Complete site visits and perform an inventory and analysis of different project properties to note existing site conditions, drainage, site structures, and context
  • Prepare site base maps and sketch design concepts
  • Collaborate with design staff to prepare finished designs and presentation graphic
  • Ability to work with, and transition between, homeowners, sales representatives, lead designer and crew members
  • Responsible for estimating and budgeting projects
  • Provide sales representative or company owner with accurate proposals
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of work material, terminology, prices, etc.
  • Manage time effectively, is organized and works on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet project deadlines and client’s needs

Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to maintain and repair irrigation systems (different brands we have used in the past include: Rainbird, Hunter and Pump Experience)
  • Execute timely services and quality checks of irrigation systems
  • Install new or renovate existing irrigation systems
  • Troubleshoot down system to determine needs for repair to operate correctly
  • Pull and fit piping for systems
  • Ability to set sprinkler heads and valve boxes
  • Perform entire Irrigation maintenance check
  • Ability to trench, replace, and grade soil
  • Ability to plant small shrubs if necessary
  • Purchase parts required to repair or renovate or create irrigation systems
  • Ability to maintain an accurate daily inventory and control strict cost management
  • Gather and update data for each account (e.g. water issues, drought areas, water sources, point of connections, poor drainage areas, mainline locations, services performed, parts used)
  • Activate and deactivate irrigation systems for seasonal needs or regulated schedules
  • Adjust schedule to maximize capacity and provide effective work flow
  • Analyze and resolve working problems or assist in solving problems
  • Able to maintain provided equipment and upkeep to vehicles to ensure working properly at all times
